I started experimenting with different fragrances a few years ago and my tastes have expanded greatly. About 10-15% different. Sillage is super super weak. It has depth, but it's not too dense and overpowering; I would say it's pretty versatile. Even though it hurt my head its still BO which I adore and could not stop sniffing my hand, dry down was superb and longevity beast mode. Rose and Spices are not a groundbreaking combination, but this is a nice game with the notes, maximizing the opportunities of this perfume profile. As if somebody took photoshop and applied "gaussian blur" on it to remove anything that may stand out too much. In the beginning,(to me) Rose Prick smells like a mix of F****** Faboulous and middle eastern rose perfume. I can feel that same smell throughout the first few hours of this fragrance. I don't think I'd like this is any other setting though. I definitely like this better in the dry down because it get sweeter. Perfectly layered, complex, sweet but with a hint of dark, gourmand but mature, not the typical bubblegum vibe for teenagers. Longevity is good. I love that it manages to be sunshine in a bottle and complex at the same time. No oud like I expected but I dont think I would wear this often. I was excited to try a new Sonia Constant composition as orris and violet leaves are the notes I love the most in a fragrance. Feminine and masculine. The parfum, on the other hand, is perfect. The lavender is the star player here but definitely anything but linear. Much more wearable and crowd-pleasing. The opening is the worst. It smells like you are a handsome or beautiful prick. The tonka softens it somewhat, but this is not something I want to pay a huge amount of money for. More sweet and spicy and less fruity in the opening, but the dry down to these fragrances resemble like they could be sisters! Even though it is softer than the original, it's still very noticeable. Eau de Soleil Blanc is being on the sand under the sun, and Soleil Blanc is your scent on your drive home after all that water and sand. The scent is superficially the same but seem a bit thinner & with less depth too. Not full bottle worthy at all. You start with an intense pepper and turmeric scent that quickly brings in rose. Its rosy, but not in an overly feminine or grandma kind of way. Its Classy, Its Casual and its fun and easy to wear. One of my favorite fall/winter time fragrances. Can lightning strike twice?
